I mean this stuff is obvious. I think those that put "human-level intelligence" as a goal for AI are doing so mainly for two reasons: either they like the goal, or they want to be deceptive because they know it can't happen but it provides a great distraction into what they're really trying to do. The fact that someone has to take time to write so much about it shows how much we've been brainwashed by the modern culture of innovation-at-all-costs.
