Why exactly is (private) cellular 5G apparently "better" than Wifi (at least for some use-cases)? Is it the frequencies used? The encoding? Something higher up in the stack (like authentication or better hand-offs or cell overlap)?by throw0101d

Licensing by the FCC as to the amount of power allowed, which makes it work for more people over a wider area than 802.11 wifi.by fragmede

I would think that private 5G cellular would also be power-limited so as to not disrupt public cellular, so you'd have to set up multiple cells just like you have to setup multiple APs.by throw0101d
