Whenever I see posts like this I'm always surprised to see these people are still using Chrome. I agree it's another user hostile move by Chrome, but if this is a big deal to you then how have you tolerated Chrome up until now?

Maybe it's a work requirement.

I use chrome primarily when something appears broken in Firefox and i want to test if it’s a ff browser issue. Turns out it’s pretty much never a ff browser issue. Cmd+q

I use a Chromium fork (Brave) for this. No need to install the actual Google malware

Me too. I've been really happy with Brave.

You jumped from one malware to another.

I use FF like 99% of the time. I only touch Chromium when I need to fix a bug on Chrome based browsers..

This didn't happen for me, apparently because I already had "Show Gemini in Chrome in Mac menu bar and turn on keyboard shortcut" disabled.

I wish bro will complain to his employer (figma) not to push AI (or allow people to say NO). Complaining about Google is correct but hypocritical.

I use ARC, for vertical organized tabs.

Really like it. Haven’t used Chrome in years.

Yes yes ARC is Chromium based, but it’s a nicer Chrome for Chromium (pun intended).

Just want a browser with url -> page, back/forward history and nice tab organization.

Don’t want janky AI.
