It sounds like you yet have any code or design docs to share, correct?Have you looked at existing 3rd party bookmark management apps and documented their major pros/cons? That would likely be a very good place to start.

Releasing is often the best way to get feedback. [0]Though I can imagine what you are describing, what I imagine is not what you are describing.
Incidentally, I am not in your target audience. I don't care about my bookmarks, I don't use x, etc.
[0] No feedback is also feedback for a released tool.
