Andor is an incredible series that is only incidentally connected to star wars. In particular, the ability to slowly and organically ramp up tension in each of the major arcs is truly special.by beart

It tells the tale about the early days of the Rebellion and how they sniffed out the construction of the Death Star, eventually leading up (and connected) to the events in Rogue One and A New Hope.

I like the Andor writing and acting, but the directing has been more hit and miss. Some episodes feel more like reading a chapter from a book than watching a TV show. I wish they grabbed Alex Garcia Lopez, whose two Acolyte episodes are waaay above the rest.by gruntled-worker
