Then vouch? If you read the comments.. it's probably because the title (like this one) is misleading a clickbait (you can still get the word definition)

It's too old to vouch. Once enough time passes the option is removed for me that is.

Can you vouch for flagged articles? I thought they had to be marked as [dead].

I think so but only for a while and then different people can flag it again and then it can not be vouched. Vouch does show up for older articles that are only auto-[dead]. This article [1] probably needs more clarification. Or an update to the site FAQ would be nice.

I wish people had to give a reason for flagging a submission. I’ve tried posting an “Ask HN” post twice now on the impact of AI on job interview loops. Both times it was flagged nearly instantly with no justification given. I believe it’s a relevant topic to all of us.
