I think people wouldn't hate it if those posting content made through AI would check their work and correct the slop. I don't mind AI voice overs. I am appalled by the fact that people just give it the text, generate the voice over, and don't bother to listen to it to remove the awkward pauses and blatant mispronunciations. And my pet peeve: tech vids leaving in acronyms like "See Dee Ess" instead of "See Deez" (using CDs as an example).This is the slop everyone should be railing against. Nobody should be getting paid YouTube riches for posting slop like that.
I'm kinda fond of the videos that use AI cartoon graphics, and leave the obvious errors in. I find it hilarious. So I'm not an anti-AI bigot in any way. (Don't do that on anything supposedly professional or authoritative, though!) But if you're presenting something, at least show enough pride to make sure the words come out right.
Sometimes you have to spell words in wonky ways to make them come out right. Do that, and don't leave in the reality-shattering mistakes that derail attention.
