Also well done in the historical use of <table> and <center> tags for layout! In fact, I just realized Hacker News still uses that, I mean, hey no shade.

I literally had the same thought about the counter and went to see if there was an HN thread to post about it on :-). PHP4 on shared hosting was such an innocent time.by alexjplant

When you encounter an actual vintage site that has been online since the '90's, that's sometimes the only thing that breaks :)There were no other dependencies.
Looks like the characteristic error message puts the final realistic touch on what the real thing looks like any more :)
How complete will today's websites render 30 years from now?
