For me, this is the smoking gun:

So, the man was inconspicuously targeting a specific area in a public space without affecting himself and everyone else, using a device in a backpack? This just sounds... technically implausible.

Microwaves are not directional, antennas are. They all have side and backlobes that would affect the carrier. To get something like this done, you have to:

- get enough backlobe attenuation to not affect yourself, but enough power and directionality to be useful against the target, also the beam should not be reflected by walls

- aim and activate it without anyone noticing (presumably by turning your back to the target), ensuring there's nobody else in the way

- the beam has to be wide enough to affect every target but narrow enough to not affect other people. This is a restaurant.

- presumably stay still long enough, because if this microwave magic works by mimicking brainwaves (if it does at all! biggest question), it should have relatively low modulation frequency.

All of this without raising suspicion. This needs James Bond levels of coordination and alignment of unknowns. Knowing how incompetent FSB/GRU and co are, I have a really hard time believing all this.

For those unfamiliar - the U.S. gov't has a centuries-long history of callous disregard for the lives and welfare of Americans who were faithfully serving their country. Not saying they are much different from other org's that way - but definitely keep it in mind, if you're feeling any patriotic urges.

With the number of Havana Syndrome incidents, and the relatively high profiles of the targets, you'd think that somebody would have developed miniaturized passive sensors (for microwave, sonic, etc. bursts) and started distributing those. Seems worth looking into, if you suspect you or someone you care about might become a target.

Hey, the link leads to a summary of a 60 Minutes segment.

We know that CBS News Editor-in-chief Bari Weiss has spiked at least one major 60 Minutes story that was unfavorable for Trump. Why did Ms Weiss let this one through? Given her history and predilections, we can surmise that she thinks this story is good for Trump, or at least bad for his enemies. Looks like 60 Minutes bills it as a "massive CIA cover-up". Trump must be hunting for CIA heads for some reason. Has Iran War intelligence been particularly useless or something?
