I wonder if these can be hacked to work only locally.In my case, a critter cam or a well pump monitor (are the status lights green?) are out of even wi-fi range.

finally seeing sensepaying a monthly fee to upload every person who passes your home has become for too expensive.
bored of watching delivery drivers drop off your parcels.
bored with watching your teenage kids arrive home from school.
bored with checking your phone every 5 minutes because the local cat has set off your ring camera.
you realised it was a complete waste of time and money when:
your home got broken into via the back door
your home got broken into via a side window
your home got broken into via an upstairs window
the burglars used a wifi jammer to render your ring camera useless
the burglars wore full masks and were unrecognisable
having a RING camera does not actaully protect you or anyone else.
Why would anyone with an ounce of common sense have a camera fitted up their arse?
If I had a camera up my ring, I too would be disconnecting and destroying it.

I was given a Ring camera as a gift several years ago. Never even took it out of the box it came in. Still sitting on a shelf in my basement.by f30e3dfed1c9
