I gave Claude Code the ability to run its own radio show 24/7

Look's cool. Like the no-nonsense design.

I have been juggling an idea that is close to this -- making a personal radio that cycles through favourite playlists from youtube. Interested in seeing how this is implemented.

PS: on a second thought - artist/track name optional display would be good -- I liked a track but now i dont know what it was :)

I will add a "now playing" feature!

well done!

please give us a peek into its working and code :)

PS: not a fan of the robotic RJ voice between tracks though -- maybe consider a switch to something that sounds more natural?

I wonder about an AI someday controlling free/open DJing software Mixxx, better than the current AutoDJ at least. there's an OSC PR that could be used

I have seen a few people working on similar things. I am 100% sure it's doable with current tools. Not sure it will sound too good though.

Spotify and Apple Music both have automix features that are actually half decent

Cool idea. Got a writeup of how you did it? Is this serving local mp3s or something?

Thank you! Working on a write up too. It's even got talk segments using TTS

Great! I'm super interested. I've been solving this kind of thing with a handful of those cheap mp3 players hooked up to my home stereo, each one acting like it's own "radio station". Having something that works on the go would be excellent!

the main trick is teaching it to use ytmp3 to get music it wants yes!
