This sort of thing was all the rage in the late 2000s. NVIDIA acquired PhysX, and suddenly every AAA game had cloth animation (just so long as you bought an nvidia GPU)… mirror’s edge, for example, has a ton of interactive tarpaulins and drapes if you play it on a supported cardby swiftcoder
