> Safari 18.4 on macOS now supports Safari Web Extensions that have been Developer ID-signed and notarized. [...] Once notarized, your app and extension is ready for distribution and use in Safari.

From the Apple developer docs:

> If you provide your extension in macOS and don’t want to use the Mac App Store for distribution, you can sign and notarize your extension’s app with a Developer ID to distribute it outside the Mac App Store.

Every release it seems to fix tons of issues but every time it is still safari that runs into additional issues.

And all of these are Webkit only. Where are Safari improvements? Faster, more efficient rendering, Address bars, bookmarks, Tab Overviews, History Search, Tab Sleep. It's been 10+ years and none of these get any improvements.

Hmmmm, no more service worker for web push it seems. I've only played with demos, seems like an upgrade?

Interesting: "Declarative Web Push is more energy efficient and more private by design. It is easier for you, the web developer to use. And it’s backwards compatible with existing Web Push notifications." https://webkit.org/blog/16535/meet-declarative-web-push/
