Tje only time i had problems with wrong traffic were when domain owners didn't update their records for decommissioned servers.by stop50

We have independently confirmed that we are getting traffic designated for other servers on our serverauction root server at hetzner. Pretty sketchy feeling to have this be the case for a hoster on the scale of hetzner.by _vere

Hetzner is a budget host so what do you expect? The same with OVH and other budget providers.Their aim is to give you a network and a server. And the same network DDoS are launched from.
Go with a proper provider, better yet go colo and you won't get such noise.
