I really wish TechCrunch hadn't let the spokesperson off the hook so easily for that statement. How could using Google without JavaScript be "safer" in any shape or form?

Google hasn't been the first place I search in ages, but it was nice to have it as an option. Not nice enough to justify enabling JS though. Leaving JS disabled enabled most of the major annoyances Google has been shoving down people's throats.
