Is there a supported way to run a program from this on Android? I can find a few projects on google but nothing looks very official.

I like it from a distance, but I don't really want to learn yet another thing that would be desktop/server only.

Yeah, that's my question too. Pharo seems interesting, in a "play around with the computer" kind of way. I could see it being a great learning environment for teenagers who are starting to look into programming. Is that an intended use case?

If you look at the book section linked from the docs you'll find several PDF books you can download and follow for learning industrial/commercial use of Pharo.
